In order to reserve your space you must pay in advance for the discounted "pre-paid" price (usually at least 24-48 hours before the event, if not more). Though walk-ins are welcome, we strongly recommend reserving your spot in advance, since workshops fill up quickly. (Limit 24 students)


The easiest and safest way to pay is online with a credit card by selecting the links for each workshop. YogaSpace uses MindBody Online to process all of our online purchases so that your sensitive financial information will be kept private and safe.


If you prefer to pay in person, over the phone or by mail, you can do one of the following:

1) Pay in person at the studio at least 24 hrs before the event.

2) Call us at 203-730-YOGA to give credit card info over the phone.


Once you have reserved your space in a workshop, you can cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours in advance.

If you cancel less than 24 hours from the start time of a workshop, no credit will be given, as we have likely turned away other students and may not be able to fill your spot. Partial account credit may be given at manager's discretion.

If we need to cancel an event due to weather or other unfroseen circumstances, we usually do so at least 24 hours in advance and will notify you by email or phone. Full refunds or full account credit will be given if we cancel.

Foundations of Mindfulness

Mindfulness meditation helps reduce stress, promote physical health, and cultivate emotional well-being.

This six week series will enable you to learn the foundations of mindfulness meditations including awareness of body, thoughts and emotions. You will learn how to apply mindfulness in your everyday life through everyday activities such as walking and eating. This course will help you lay the foundation for a daily practice of mindfulness in your life. Chairs, backpacks, bolsters, pillows and blankets are provided for your comfort.

Yoga Nidra ~ The Art of Deep Relaxation

Chair-supported poses gives an opportunity to go deeper in our yoga practice. Poses can be held longer, which has numerous benefits. In standing poses this helps to develop more strength and stamina; in back bends the chair allows for a fuller opening; with sustained inversions the affect of gravity is reversed; and in seated forward folds the chair offers the opportunity to become quiet and move inward.

This workshop is suited to all students with at least six months of yoga experience.

Restorative Yoga ~ Unwind From the Grind

Take time out for yourself and let YogaSpace be your "sanctuary of sanity". Restorative Yoga is a passive practice, which just about anyone can do. You don't need to be particularly athletic, fit or flexible.

We'll use props (pillows, blankets, straps, etc.) to support your body so you can rest, stretch your muscles; lower your heart rate and blood pressure; calm your nervous system, and experience a peaceful state of deep relaxation. Just wear super comfy layers and bring a mat if you have one. We have everything else you'll need. The perfect antidote to anxiety and overwhelm.

Life Force Yoga: Find Your Inner Bliss

LifeForce Yoga is a practice designed to manage your mood through pranayama (intentional breath), gentle asana (yoga postures), guided meditation and yoga nidra (yogic sleep). In this inspiring workshop, you'll be able to release what is no longer serving you and find your inner bliss through self-inquiry and practices that remind you who you truly are. Yogis at all levels are welcome as well as those serving others who may suffer from anxiety, depression and PTSD.

Based on protocols developed by Amy Weintraub, author of Yoga for Depression and Yoga Skills for Therapists, Heather will guide you through the following:
