RESERVATIONS POLICY:

In order to reserve your space you must pay in advance for the discounted "pre-paid" price (usually at least 24-48 hours before the event, if not more). Though walk-ins are welcome, we strongly recommend reserving your spot in advance, since workshops fill up quickly. (Limit 24 students)

PAYMENT ONLINE:

The easiest and safest way to pay is online with a credit card by selecting the links for each workshop. YogaSpace uses MindBody Online to process all of our online purchases so that your sensitive financial information will be kept private and safe.

PAYMENT AT THE STUDIO:

If you prefer to pay in person, over the phone or by mail, you can do one of the following:

1) Pay in person at the studio at least 24 hrs before the event.

2) Call us at 203-730-YOGA to give credit card info over the phone.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Once you have reserved your space in a workshop, you can cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours in advance.

If you cancel less than 24 hours from the start time of a workshop, no credit will be given, as we have likely turned away other students and may not be able to fill your spot. Partial account credit may be given at manager's discretion.

If we need to cancel an event due to weather or other unfroseen circumstances, we usually do so at least 24 hours in advance and will notify you by email or phone. Full refunds or full account credit will be given if we cancel.

Join Susan for two and a half hour Kundalini Yoga experience offered only on the first Saturday of each month. The class is comprised of yogic prayers, Kundalini Yoga and chanting mantras; all designed to free your energy, release blocks and awaken you to your destiny!

Everyone is welcome. No prior experience necessary. This class is offered by donation.

Lift Your Vibration: Kirtan with Ini!

Join us for an uplifting evening of live music, song and chanting with Australian musician and sound healer Ini!

Ini been using sacred music as a tool for transformation for over 3 decades. Her sound is a unique blend of folk, jazz and yogic chant (think Joni Mitchell meets Krishna Das). Her effervescent energy and big heart is contagious!

She comes to us between gigs at the Michigan Women’s Music Festival and in NYC, so don’t miss her while she’s here in CT! Come sing, dance, meditate or simply soak in the good vibes. You’ll leave with a sense of openness, freedom and joy!

Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga - Private Lessons

Take your yoga off the mat and onto the lake this summer, and experience the fun, challenge and serenity of SUP yoga!

Gloria now offers one-on-one Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga instruction on beautiful Lake Lillinonah (a serene spot on the Brookfield/Newtown border), or on a local body of water of your choice.

In this 2-hour sojourn, you'll learn to paddle and experience a private yoga class, floating on the lake and attuning to water, trees, sky, birds, sun, wind and yourself. This is an unparalelled experience of being in the flow!

Why do yoga on a paddleboard?
- It's a great full-body workout
- You'll get to intimately connect with nature, your breath and yourself
- You'll test your balance, focus and skill
- You'll learn humility and humor
- It’s adventuresome, wet and wonderful to do yoga on a paddleboard
- There's nothing quite like a floating Savasana (final relaxation)!

What you'll learn & experience:
- Basic paddle board skills and safety.
- Proper stroke techniques to save your shoulders and strengthen your core
- Gloria's tips and tricks for making SUP easy and enjoyable
- A relaxing, fun SUP yoga practice that is tailored to your skill and needs
- A floating meditation

Details:
- You must be comfortable on the water and able to swim. Expect to get wet.
- Equipment rental included (board, paddle, PFD, anchor, whistle, etc.)
- The whole experience, including equipment set up, paddling instruction, yoga instruction, relaxation/meditation, etc. lasts about 2 hours
- Wear a bathing suit and/or moisture wicking high-tech fabrics, board shorts or short nylon leggings. Do not wear cotton as it gets heavy and cold when wet.
- Wear Teva sandals or water shoes for transitions in and out of the water. We'll be barefoot on the board.
- Slather on the sunscreen and lip balm before you come!
- Bring a water bottle and sunglasses (on a chord, so you don't loose them), and a hat or visor if it's hot & sunny
- We'll be leaving all other valuables (wallet, phone, etc.) in your car
- Also bring a towel and dry cloths to change into

Days/Tomes Offered:
- Weekday mornings at 10am or 11am
- Thursday or Friday afternoons at 4pm, 5pm or 6pm
- Saturday or Sunday mornings at 9am
- Reservations required

Restorative Yoga ~ Unwind From The Grind

Take time out for yourself and let YogaSpace be your "sanctuary of sanity". Restorative Yoga is a passive practice, which just about anyone can do. You don't need to be particularly athletic, fit or flexible.

We'll use props (pillows, blankets, straps, etc.) to support your body so you can rest, stretch your muscles; lower your heart rate and blood pressure; calm your nervous system, and experience a peaceful state of deep relaxation. Just wear super comfy layers and bring a mat if you have one. We have everything else you'll need. The perfect antidote to anxiety and overwhelm.
