RESERVATIONS POLICY:

In order to reserve your space you must pay in advance for the discounted "pre-paid" price (usually at least 24-48 hours before the event). Though walk-ins are welcome, we strongly recommend reserving your spot in advance, since workshops fill up quickly. (Limit 25 students)

PAYMENT ONLINE:

The easiest and safest way to pay is online with a credit card by selecting the links for each workshop. YogaSpace uses MindBody Online to process all of our online purchases so that your sensitive financial information will be kept private and safe.

PAYMENT AT THE STUDIO:

If you prefer to pay in person, over the phone or by mail, you can do one of the following:

1) Pay in person at the studio at least 24 hrs before the event.

2) Call us at 203-730-YOGA to give credit card info over the phone.

3) Mail a check to YogaSpace at 78 Stony HIll Rd., Bethel CT 06801 with a note referencing which workshop you're paying for. Make sure you leave enough time for mail to get to us (usually 3-4 days) so we'll have your reservation.

Note: If you're sending a check, be sure to add 6.35% CT Sales Tax to the total cost of the workshop.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Once you have reserved your space in a workshop, you can cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours in advance.

If you cancel less than 24 hours from the start time of a workshop, no credit will be given, as we have likely turned away other students and may not be able to fill your spot.

Kundalini Sadhana
First Saturday of the month from 5:30am – 8:00am

A two and a half hour Kundalini Yoga experience offered in the ambrosial hours of 5:30am – 8:00am on the first Saturday morning of each month. The practice is comprised of a 20 minute ancient yogic prayer followed by about an hour of Kundalini Yoga and another hour of chanting seven different mantras. The practice is designed to free your energy, release blocks and awaken you to your destiny! Everyone is welcome. No prior experience necessary.

Restorative Yoga ~ Unwind From the Grind

Take time out for yourself and let YogaSpace be your "sanctuary of sanity".

Restorative Yoga is a passive practice, which just about anyone can do. You don't need to be particularly athletic, fit or flexible.

We'll use props (pillows, blankets, straps, etc.) to support your body so you can rest, stretch your muscles; lower your heart rate and blood pressure; calm your nervous system, and experience a peaceful state of deep relaxation. Just wear super comfy layers and bring a mat if you have one. We have everything else you'll need. The perfect antidote to anxiety and overwhelm.

Love What Is —
Embracing Our True Self through Yoga

We all struggle with learning to love and accept ourselves as we are. Often, even our yoga practice can be used as a way to punish or push ourselves in an effort to become somebody new. This way of practicing actually works the opposite way we want it to. When we learn to accept our bodies as they are and practice in a nourishing and supportive way, dramatic inner and outer transformation is possible.

In this workshop, Elizabeth will guide a challenging and loving sequence focused on the first three chakras. Sweat, smile, and feel good as you flow through postures meant to ground you in a loving and realistic vision of yourself just as you are. Many options and modifications will be given throughout practice to celebrate every practitioner right where they are!

Some experience recommended, injuries and pregnancies are welcome!

Yoga Nidra: The Art of Deep Relaxation

Yoga Nidra is an 8-stage guided journey that has the power to transform and rejuvenate you at core levels. Each stage is the doorway to the next level. It effortlessly and compassionately switches you from the fight and flight mode into the relaxation response and the body's natural healing response.

A few of the many known benefits: Strengthens immune system, minimizes daily stress, reduces pain, lowers high blood pressure, stabilizes mind and emotions, improves overall health and well being.

Anyone can do Yoga Nidra. All you have to do is lie down, close your eyes, and listen to the instructions. You may drift in and out hearing or fall asleep. Whatever your experience, it still works. The deepest layer of your being is always awake and receptive. It is completely foolproof- there is no way to do it incorrectly.

This workshop will consist of 45 minutes of yoga poses (multi level) to prepare the physical body to be still for 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra allowing you to go beneath the surface and experience the multi dimensional being that you are.

This may just be what you need to get through the holiday season without stress and anxiety!
